But it was the Swedish “Let The Right One In” that really accomplished the essence of real vampire ambience (if there is one that could be conceived by men) while took the genre to a new dimension. It’s cold, it’s brutal, yet romantic. It was screened for short period at Blitzmegaplex in Jakarta and Bandung, around the time when people queued for hours to see that good looking vampire man.

Krismon was a famous acronym for ‘Krisis Moneter’ (Monetary Crisis that stormed Indonesian economy in 1997), that was a super famous phrase in Indonesia at the time. After I got into Brian Eno from the bibliographical connection trough “Velvet Goldmine” original sound track, I found out that Robert Fripp, the mastermind behind King Crimson is affiliated with Eno. I initially looked out for King Crimson’s debut album (In the Court of the Crimson King ) based on the recommendation from my trusted music magazines. And my got it BLEW MY MIND! “21st Century Schizoid Man” is the landmark of every prog rock and experimental music that is also as enjoyable as Billboard charting pop song. AMAZING.

With all respect to Mr. Robert Fripp, I’m sorry I underestimated you and misjudge you from the band name with some local slang and joke you won’t find them funny.
