What Actually Happened on Night of 19th Dec

Oz radio’s 38th birthday was celebrated at The Venue Eldorado on the night of 19th Dec. Headliner of the night was Zoot Woman from the Great Britain. But they only got arrived in Bandung at 10 PM, few hours previous the time they were scheduled to perform.  Consequently , they haven’t got anytime to soundcheck since the show was already on, even though they were scheduled to soundcheck in the morning. And so the Zoot’s sound engineer panicked and ran to the FOH to check on the main mixer (Yamaha PM5d digital mixer which you can store and save your setting). He accidentally (?) edited The S.I.G.I.T. saved preset just before we setting up on stage. God knows what he did to the setting and the system, last thing we know is when we play the PA speakers died and they were no sound coming out whatsoever.  Our set had to be cut since the show was already delayed 2 hours and there’s no time for us to do the mend to the soundsytem. Aftewrwards,  the mixer was rebooted and it took 1,5 hours for Zoot Woman to do the soundcheck in front of the audiences, giving them a rather awkward moment.

Zoot Woman’s performance was awesome.  Our only complaints goes to the Zoot Woman’s sound engineers who ignorantly messing up our setting (which we’ve worked for hours) and arrogantly scold on sound crews, Oz crews and our crews. Who ever you are, it kind of your fault too man.
